This is probably the last such quiet weekend this summer. In just a week football giants will slowly return to the game for further trophies.
A match for the European Super Cup, that is, the start of Manchester United against Real Madrid. Borussia Dortmund vs. Bayern in a duel with the German Super Cup. And finally double match of Barcelona with the Royal – here at stake is the Spanish Super Cup. Yes, yes! We are slowly returning to the normal world. But for those delicacies we still have to wait a bit longer. We still have our Ekstraklasa and great International Champions Cup trophies.
Just today, The third LOTTO Ekstraklasa will start, including the Górnik Zabrze with Wisla Krakow and Legia Warszawa with Sandecja Nowy Sącz.
Only three teams – Jagiellonia Bialystok, Wisła Kraków and Zagłębie Lubin – scored in the first two rounds. At the other extreme are Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza and Śląsk Wrocław, which have not yet scored even one point. Maybe they will be able to score some point this weekend?

Coach Jacek Magiera must quickly introduce a rescue plan, because it may be very bad pretty soon.
One of the few Legia players who do not disappoint is Armando Sadiku. And it depends on him, the effectiveness of the further fate of players from the capital in European cups. And what will the match with Sandec look like? The team from Nowy Sącz are not any waiters. In the first round they drew 0-0 with the Lech themselves. Later, they scored one point with the Arka Gdynia. Therefore, the Legionaries are waiting for a hard fight to break through the defensive lines of the team of Radoslaw Mroczkowski. I do not think this is a game that fans will remember for years. Just usual league fight.
What else will happen? On Sunday the Gortat Team will play the charity match with the Polish Army. In the meeting will play, among others. Mariusz Wlazły and Piotr Gruszka, legends of Polish volleyball and Jerzy Dudek, Polish football goalkeeper. There will also be our only NBA player.
The International Champions Cup is slowly ending. However, at the end of this tournament we will get a real gem – a match of Real Madrid with Barcelona! The match that will take place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, and it is another part of the eternal football game called El Clásico. In what form are both teams? Well, Blaugrana is still winning everything. Messi and the company beat Juventus 2:1 and then Manchester United. All three goals scored for them Neymar.
It is even more ridiculous that a transferred player is the one who nearly 90 per cent of the fans of the Catalan pride no longer like and respect. This is obviously the consequence of the transfer talks with PSG. But it’s so boring subject that it makes no sense to write more about it. And so we do not know anything new. The case is simple – either the French will pay 222 million euro, or the transfer will not take place! Full stop. 🙂
In Real, the atmosphere is better, but there are no results.
